Head of Boarding

PLC is a leading ELC to Year 12 Christian independent day and boarding school with a focus on the development of the whole person that includes an outstanding academic tradition, an international outlook and strong pastoral and co-curricular programs.

The Role

The College seeks to appoint a Head of Boarding, who is responsible for all aspects of the care of the girls in the Boarding House who come from country Victoria, other states within Australia and from overseas, and range in age from twelve to nineteen years.

Commencing Term 1 2022, this full-time ongoing position will suit an experienced, hands-on leader who is committed to creating a culture of high-quality care, warmth and belonging, to enable our girls to thrive and be the best that they can be.

The Head of Boarding will lead and instil the Boarding House culture and lead a team of staff that is dedicated to the highest standards of support and care for students.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine concern and understanding of teenage girls and will be able to encourage and develop a happy and positive living environment for the Boarding House community. The Head of Boarding will provide an energetic, optimistic, supportive Christian environment in which all students and staff feel comfortable and included.

The position attracts a competitive remuneration package including onsite residence.
