Getting to PLC

PLC enjoys a convenient location on Burwood Highway, Burwood, in Melbourne’s inner east. 

Whether travelling by car, public transport or school bus, getting to PLC is easy.
 

Getting to PLC by car

Vehicle access to the Early Learning Centre and Junior School is via Gate 3 and Gate 5 on Elgar Road.

Entry to the Senior School is via Gate 6 on Parer Street.

Entry to the Joan Montgomery Centre is via Gate 2 on Burwood Highway.
 

Getting to PLC by public transport

Public transport is readily available, with the No. 75 tram (Stop 61) stopping directly outside PLC’s Burwood Highway entrance. The Ventura bus service from Box Hill Station also provides regular connections.

Getting to PLC by school bus

PLC provides a convenient charter bus service for students in Years 5 to 12, with routes covering a range of surrounding local councils such as Whitehorse (Forest Hill, Mitcham), Manningham (Doncaster, Doncaster East, Warrandyte, Donvale), Maroondah (Ringwood, Croydon), Monash (Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley), Glen Eira (Bentleigh), Knox (Wantirna, Rowville) and Boroondara (Balwyn, Hawthorn East).

Services are reviewed and updated each year to meet the needs of our students, based on demand and home addresses collected towards the end of the school year.

Families will receive full details about available routes and schedules after enrolment. Please see the indicative 2025 fee schedule below.
