PLC students win top honours at Premier’s VCE Awards
The annual Premier’s VCE Awards celebrate outstanding student achievement across the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). Held on Tuesday, 21 July 2026 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, this year's prestigious ceremony recognised Victoria’s top-performing students from the 2025 VCE cohort for their exceptional dedication, hard work and academic results.
The entire PLC community is immensely proud to congratulate two of our students who were honoured with these prestigious awards: Robyn Dunn and Audrey Doan.
Robyn was named among the top 4 students out of 5,386 who completed History: Revolutions in 2025, guided by her teacher, Ms Bianca Crawford. Reflecting on her achievement, Robyn shared that it was a “true honour” to receive the award for a subject she deeply loves.
"I’m currently studying Science (GDP) at the University of Melbourne, with plans to pursue post-graduate studies in engineering or medicine," Robyn said. "However, my interest in history remains a lifelong passion. I am continuing to study it at university, staying involved in the History Society, and hoping to return to volunteering at the Shrine of Remembrance over the next couple of years."
Audrey was similarly recognised as one of the top 4 students out of 4,419 who completed Specialist Mathematics, under the guidance of her teacher, Mr John Taylor.
"I am very honoured to receive this Premier's Award and am incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped me achieve it, particularly my subject teacher, Mr Taylor," Audrey said. She has already taken her next big step into tertiary study, adding, "I am currently studying Medicine at Monash University, and I am looking forward to continuing my studies there while exploring all the other opportunities university life has to offer."
VCE Coordinator, Ms Karina Archman, noted that receiving a Premier’s Award is an incredible achievement and honour. As Audrey and Robyn embark on their university studies and future endeavours, the school community joins together in celebrating their extraordinary accomplishments and wishing them every success.
