On Monday 25 August, the PLC Foundation community came together for an evening of connection and celebration at the Pre-Gala Foundation Event.

Hosted in the stylish Riverside Mezzanine function room at Hamer Hall, the evening provided guests with the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow supporters, enjoy the elegant surroundings, and celebrate the remarkable contributions of the PLC Foundation in 2025. Guests reconnected with familiar faces and met many new Foundation members who have joined in recent months.

A special highlight of the night was the heartfelt farewell to Principal Mrs Cheryl Penberthy, recognising her dedication, leadership, and lasting legacy at PLC. Guests had the chance to express their gratitude for her commitment to the school and the Foundation, celebrating the profound impact of her leadership.

The Pre-Gala celebration set the stage for the 2025 Gala Celebration & Speech Night, a milestone event in PLC’s 150-year calendar, where the school community gathered to celebrate the exceptional talent of students and staff on a truly memorable evening.
