Charlie Bishop Awarded Premier’s VCE Award for Art Creative Practice
We are proud to congratulate recent graduate Charlie Bishop, who has been awarded a Premier’s VCE Award for outstanding achievement in Art Creative Practice, a subject she completed at PLC in Year 12 in 2024.
The Premier’s VCE Awards honour the top-performing students from across Victoria in the Victorian Certificate of Education. Charlie received her award from the Premier of Victoria, The Hon. Jacinta Allan MP, at a special presentation held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Wednesday 2 July.
This prestigious recognition reflects not only Charlie’s exceptional creativity and dedication, but also the passion and support of our teaching staff who continue to inspire excellence in every discipline.
Senior School teacher and Head of Art, Erin Horsley, was delighted to witness Charlie’s award recognition. She is immensely proud of Charlie’s creative ideas, her willingness to reflect on feedback, and her unwavering dedication.
We also warmly congratulate current Year 12 student Zihan (Dora) and recent graduate Siying (Iris) Wang (Class of 2024), who were recognised for their outstanding results in Chinese First Language, studied through the Chinese Culture School’s Melbourne High Campus and Glen Waverley Campus.
