Australia Day Honours - Maryjane Crabtree AM (1974)
PLC warmly congratulates Maryjane Crabtree AM (1974) on her appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia in this year’s Australia Day Honours, honoured for significant service to the legal profession, to community health and to sport.
Maryjane’s career reflects both professional accomplishment and wholehearted community commitment. Following a successful legal career, she has devoted her expertise and energy to a range of not-for-profit and community organisations. Her leadership roles, including work with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and as President of the Board at Anam Cara House in Colac, demonstrate a life lived in generous service to others.
Her belief that volunteering connects people to their community speaks powerfully to PLC’s values. Maryjane’s journey is an inspiring reminder that success is measured not only in professional milestones, but in the difference one makes in the lives of others.
Presbyterian Ladies’ College acknowledges the Wurundjeri, Woiwurrung and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians, by God’s gracious providence, of the land on which our school stands.
