Dr Emma Burgess appointed as PLC's next Principal
With Mrs Cheryl Penberthy's term as PLC Principal concluding at the end of Term 3, 2025, we are very pleased to announce that Dr Emma Burgess has been appointed as the College’s 13th Principal.
Commencing in Term 4, 2025, Dr Burgess is an experienced principal and inspirational and visionary educational leader, who will bring strategic insight and outstanding leadership to her role.
On accepting her appointment, Dr Burgess commented, “I am delighted and honoured to build on the legacy of past Principals and to lead and serve the school in this next chapter of its remarkable history. I particularly look forward to connecting with the girls, staff, families and the broader community of PLC soon.”
We are so grateful to Mrs Cheryl Penberthy for her dedication and leadership of our College over the last five years and we look forward to celebrating her during 2025.
