The PLC learning journey

At PLC, learning is a dynamic, lifelong journey that begins in the Early Learning Centre and continues through Junior and Senior School. Across every age and stage, we challenge and inspire students to grow – intellectually, socially, spiritually and emotionally – through a curriculum that balances academic excellence with creativity, character and care.

Guided by expert educators and supported by a caring community, each student is encouraged to explore her passions, take risks, and strive for her personal best, both inside and outside the classroom.

At PLC, we prepare young women to embrace the future with courage and self-belief – equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to make a meaningful difference in the world.

A shared, connected learning approach

At PLC, learning is a continuous and connected journey from Early Learning to Year 12, all on one integrated, single-site campus. This unique setting fosters a deep sense of community, continuity and shared purpose, allowing students to grow with confidence in a safe and familiar environment.

Across every stage of the education journey, PLC offers:

  • Focused learning – students engage deeply with subjects through explicit teaching, rather than broad, skills-based themes.
  • Individual learning pathways – choice and flexibility inspire students to pursue their interests and passions.
  • Structured progression – from guided learning in the early years to increasing independence and leadership in senior years.
  • Cross-age connection – including a strongly embedded House system, student-led clubs, and cross-year level mentoring.
  • Integrated wellbeing programs – physical, emotional and spiritual growth is embedded through unique programs such as Empowered Changemakers, Wellness in Motion, and Faith in Life.
  • A holistic approach – learning extends beyond academics to develop confident, capable young women ready for life after school.

At every step, PLC supports each girl’s growth, ensuring she is known, valued and inspired to thrive.

Presbyterian Ladies’ College acknowledges the Wurundjeri, Woiwurrung and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians, by God’s gracious providence, of the land on which our school stands.
