Congratulations to Old Collegian, Ellie Johnson (2020), for her outstanding victory at the 2024 Canoe/Kayak Marathon Championships in South Australia earlier this month. Ellie dominated the Under 23 women's single category, triumphing in the challenging 20km race, which comprised five laps and included a portage at the end of each lap, requiring competitors to swiftly exit their boats, run and re-enter. Ellie's exceptional performance has earned her a well-deserved spot on the Australian team, where she will proudly represent her country at the upcoming World Championships in Metkovic, Croatia in September.
