PLC warmly invites parents, prospective parents and their daughters to visit the College on one of the scheduled Wednesday or Saturday ‘Tour Days’. Alternatively, an individual tour can be arranged at other times by appointment with the Registrar, Mrs Angela Hurley.

All tours commence at 9.30am with an introductory information session in the Doris Daniel Theatre. Visitors can then tour those areas of the College that interest them, including any, or all, of Senior School, Junior School, Early Learning Centre and the Boarding House. Current students usually act as tour guides and staff are available to answer questions or discuss specific needs.

Please allow 1 1/2 hours to tour the school.

For Girls in Years 5 and 6 and their Families

An excellent opportunity to discover and experience our programs and activities for girls.

Discovery Night offers girls currently in Years 5 and 6 and their families the opportunity to explore PLC’s broad core curriculum in Years 7–10 which prepares girls for the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Find out about our extensive and enriching co-curricular program and our nurturing Christian environment, which promote student well-being and personal development and foster integrity and a willingness to contribute to society. It is within such a stimulating and nurturing environment that we see PLC girls thrive and achieve their best across all areas of endeavour.

In 2008, seven girls achieved the maximum ENTER of 99.95 – an extraordinary achievement. But the outstanding results by no means stopped there. 21% of PLC’s 2008 Year 12 achieved an ENTER of 99 or above placing them in the top 1% of the State, and 49% achieved an ENTER of 95 or above placing them in the top 5% of the State. Nearly 80% of the girls in Year 12 2008 received a first round tertiary offer to either Melbourne or Monash University.
