A Collaborative Process
The Journey
Our new uniform collection represents the culmination of years of careful planning and many hours of thoughtful discussion.
Engaging a uniform designer who understood the needs of students from the Early Learning Centre through to the Senior School was paramount. As was identifying a uniform manufacturer who could realise those designs in a comfortable, stylish and sustainable way.
Our Uniform Committee, comprising students, parents, staff and alumnae, ensured voices from across our community would inform the design. Through extensive collaboration, their insights have helped shape a collection that will meet the needs of future generations of PLC students.
Meet the Designer
Leading Australian uniform designer, Jonathan Ward, has produced a contemporary wardrobe approach that is practical, comfortable and offers students personal choice.
The collection celebrates the College’s wonderful heritage that embodies an evolution to PLC’s signature checks, weaves and colours, whilst accommodating the new uniform’s distinctive new items and style.
The new uniform has been designed to be fully transeasonal. It features a range of compulsory items as well as an extensive range of optional clothing items and accessories to complement each students’ individual preferences, style and personal comfort.
