Some of our best young minds recently attended the Rotary Model United Nations Assembly and Mentone Grammar Model UN. Our PLC representatives presented carefully developed arguments regarding serious world issues including sustainability and climate change at these special events.

Congratulations to Paris and Emma in Year 11 for representing Germany. They were awarded a prize for successfully presenting a resolution on increasing commitments to prevent climate change. At the Mentone Grammar Model UN, Tiya, Bella and Palanandee represented Japan and Aria, Harani and Shin Yi represented Trinidad and Tobago. It was a very successful meet with a lot of energy and some friendly and sometimes combative debating of the proposed resolutions.
