Our Year 9 ceramic students are still hard at work during our distance learning period. A package of clay and tools was put together for the girls and they have been learning how to make the technically challenging Yixing style teapot, entirely by hand at home.

Using zoom, their teacher Ms Walk has led the students in creating the rounded body of the teapot by using a slab building method and then gently paddling out the rounded shape.
