Music School Administrator

About the role

PLC is inviting applications for the part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position of Music School Administrator, commencing 18 January 2022.

The Music School Administrator reports to the Director of Music and is an integral member of the Music Department at PLC. 

This is a Term-time only position, meaning School holiday conditions apply. 

The Music School Administrator will work closely with the PA to the Director of Music and in close connection with music teaching staff and students, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a busy and dynamic office. The role involves ICT, clerical, event management and organisational skills, as well as a high level of interpersonal skills for communicating with staff, students and parents of PLC.

About You

The ideal candidate will have the experience of providing high quality administrative and operational support to a busy office, in a school or similar environment. A background in music would be advantageous.

You will be highly organized in your approach, with the ability to multitask and prioritise your day to ensure key tasks are met on time and with attention to detail.

Communication skills are your strength, as this role involves lots of people facing. You have a warm, welcoming, positive manner, the ability to empathise and keep calm under pressure.
