Learning Support Assistant

The Role
PLC invites applications for this position designed to foster and enhance the learning outcomes of students. This is a full time, ongoing, term time only role commencing Term 3, 2022.
The incumbent will support students who have specific educational needs to access the curriculum.
The Learning Support Assistant reports to the Head of Learning Enhancement and will join a dynamic, collaborative team of educators who are committed to supporting students’ learning needs across the College.
About You
This position is based in our Senior School and will be primarily supporting students in Years 7 to 10. We are seeking a candidate who:
- has a demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team
- is motivated, enthusiastic and a self-starter
- has experience supporting the differentiation of the curriculum within a school setting
- has excellent communication skills
- exercises discretion and confidentiality in their working practices
- has strong ICT skills
- hold a current Working with Children Check or VIT registration
