Junior School Classroom Teacher

The Role

PLC is inviting applications for a full-time Classroom Teacher, to lead, inspire and nurture the teaching and learning of our Junior School students.

Commencing Term 1 2022, this is a 12 month fixed-term appointment and an opportunity for someone to make their mark in one of our State’s leading girls’ schools.

Joining a team of skilled, passionate and highly collaborative educators, the Classroom Teacher will have proven experience as a Primary educator and be open to teaching at any level from Prep to Year 6.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to cater to students with a range of abilities and learning styles. 
Training in the Spalding Method will also be highly regarded for this role.
The Classroom Teacher will demonstrate high standards of teaching and learning practice, encourage a culture of success and enjoyment of learning, and be committed to ensuring each student has access to a positive and enriching educational experience. 
All staff must commit to a culture that supports and embraces Child Safe Standards. The successful applicant will be required to hold and maintain a valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
