Infrastructure Engineer

The Role
 
This is an opportunity to become a senior member of the ICT Services Team, at one of Australia’s leading independent girls’ schools. 
 
The Infrastructure Engineer is a full-time, permanent position, responsible for the security, availability and quality of a range of infrastructure services for the College. 
 
This position offers the incumbent the ability to deliver innovation and key strategic initiatives in the digital infrastructure space. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of internet access, wired and wireless network infrastructure and management of the data and disaster recovery centres. 
 
About You
 
You are a qualified IT professional with strong experience in IT infrastructure service, in the education space or a similar sector.

You are keen to be part of a team of skilled, purpose-driven, highly collaborative individuals who also make it an important part of their culture to share fun.

You have a sound understanding of licensing, maintenance contracts and service level agreements, strong systems administration experience, and the ability to exercise initiative to improve processes, services and to solve issues.
