The Role

This is a perfect part-time (0.22 FTE), Term 2 opportunity for a passionate Bass Teacher (double bass and electric bass) to contribute to an established, well-reputed and dynamic school music community.

The Bass Teacher will be a music educator with a proven record of excellence in both teaching and performing.

Teaching private students from beginner through to VCE / IB Diploma level, you will have the skills and personal approach that can adapt to meet the needs of students of all ages and stages.

You will be joining one of Australia’s leading independent girls’ schools, as well as joining an accomplished, highly collaborative team of teachers who are focused on creative, reflective development of curriculum and outcomes for our students.

About You

You will be a Bass teaching and performance professional (double bass and electric bass), who will confidently guide, develop and nurture our students’ love of musical performance.

You will represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues and parents, and be committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
