The Role

PLC invites applicants for a part-time (0.8 FTE), fixed-term opportunity teaching art, ceramics and textiles across Years 7-10.

This is a Term 2 long service leave replacement role and would suit an art educator who is keen to apply their knowledge and skills within a leading independent girls’ school.  Graduates welcome to apply.

In this role, you will enjoy working with a highly accomplished team of art educators who are focused on creative, reflective development of curriculum and outcomes for our students.

About You

You are an art teaching graduate or an accomplished Art Teacher who is passionate about working with ceramics and textiles, as well as fostering student interest and excellence in these subject areas.

As this is a short-term role, you will have the ability to build positive and trusting relationships with your students. You will also have the ability to work proactively and collaboratively with your peers, to effectively plan and deliver units of work and related assessments.
