Administration Assistant (Curriculum)

The Role

We invite applications from experienced, enthusiastic administration assistant professionals, for the position of Administration Assistant (Curriculum) with PLC. 

Joining our Senior School Curriculum team, this is a fixed-term, part-time (4 days per week) role for Term 4 2022.

The goal of the Curriculum team is to support student learning in the Senior School and align all projects to the College’s goals, as set out in the strategic plan. The Curriculum team consists of 9 members of staff and includes Curriculum Coordination, Careers Development, Senior School Administration and Staff Development.
 
Key accountabilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Deputy Principal, supported by the PA to the Deputy Principal
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of the Deputy Principal’s schedule
  • Employing high level communication skills to draft and disseminate correspondence, news publications, presentation preparation, and meeting agenda and minutes
  • Liasing with external providers on behalf of the College to develop the 2023 student diary and booklists
  • Coordinating Year 10 examination processes following clear guidelines and procedures
  • Other duties as directed by the Deputy Principal (Curriculum, Learning and Administration) including where necessary assistance to other Senior Executive members

About You

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an autonomous manner, and have experience supporting a Manager or Department Head. Experience working within the Education sector will be highly regarded.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong internal customer service ethos.  

High attention to detail and time management skills along with excellent problem solving and organisational skills will be essential. Experience using a Mac would be highly regarded.
