Presbyterian Ladies’ College is a school of significant size with a total of 275 teaching and non-teaching staff and a student population of 940 in the Senior School, 440 in the Junior School and 200 children in the Early Learning Centre.

For the positions listed below the College is seeking applicants with appropriate qualifications and experience and a willingness to participate in the pastoral, co-curricular and Outdoor Education Programs of the College.

PLC seeks to appoint staff who can support the Christian teachings and ethos of the College.

Junior School Christian Education Teacher
0.6 FTE part-time permanent

The Junior School Christian Education Teacher works in the Junior School to ensure the spiritual wellbeing, nurture and development of all students, and alongside the School Chaplain, exercises a ministry to the wider school community. The Junior School Christian Education Teacher will teach Christian Education in the Junior School and will have responsibility for the student co-curricular Christian group, supporting and encouraging girls in their faith development. The Junior School Christian Education Teacher will lead weekly Christian Education Assemblies, integrating music and age appropriate resources effectively into this worship time.

The Librarian role is a key support for the Teacher Librarian. The Librarian will work alongside the Teacher Librarian to promote a collaborative and welcoming environment to all members of the PLC Junior School community.

We are seeking an experienced Career Development Practitioner with demonstrated experience in individual student counseling in the areas of subject selection, career development and tertiary course selection, and who can actively support the Christian teachings and ethos of the College. Applicants must be prepared to participate in the outdoor education and co-curricular program of the College.
