PLC Aquatic Club
The PLC Aquatic Club was formed in 2000 to provide PLC students and members of the wider community with ongoing training and opportunities to participate competitively in the disciplines of Swimming, Diving and Synchronised Swimming. The Club currently has representatives in those disciplines at State and National level.
Club Membership is a requirement for all College and community participants who train in swimming (beginner and advanced squads), diving and synchronised swimming squads.

Learn to Swim and Water Safety Classes
The PLC Aquatic Centre provides quality Learn To Swim and water safety lessons for a range of abilities; from infants to adults, beginner to squad level. Our staff are highly qualified, experienced and committed to providing a program that encompasses water familiarisation, water safety, survival techniques, deep water experience, stroke development, fitness and fun. Classes are conducted in the Learner’s Pool (0.5m – 1.0m depth), in the 25m Pool (1.2m – 1.8m depth) and in the Dive Pool (3.8m deep).
Lessons are held at the centre on Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, 3:45pm – 6:45pm and Saturday mornings, 8 am –11:30am for children 3+ years of age. Our Infant/Toddler program is held on Saturday afternoons 11.30am and 12 noon and 12:30pm, which includes parent/carer involvement. Lessons are of 30-minute duration and Terms usually have 8 lessons.

Holiday Programs – Learn to Swim and Water Safety (LTS & WS) and Diving 2012
The Learn To Swim & Water Safety is a 5-day intensive program for children 3 years and over. Lessons are of 30-minute duration. Class times are 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10: 30, 11:00 and 11:30am.
A 5-day diving program is also available during the holidays. Lessons are 1 hour in duration and the program aims to provide an introduction to springboard diving. Class times are 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00am.

PLC Aquatic hosts AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Courses (TSW).

PLC Aquatic is a Life Saving Victoria Licensed Course provider.

Aquatic Centre patrons may park in:
- the senior school parking area, entry is via Gate 4 in Parer St
Patrons with medical symptoms of any gastrointestinal infection (known or suspected) must not enter the water. Patrons are not to swim if they have had diarrhoea in the past 2 weeks.
Adopt 'Healthy Swimming Practices'. Wash hands with soap after going to to toilet or changing a nappy. Shower and wash thoroughly with soap before entering the water.
Papillomas/molluscums/warts or other infectious skin infections must be treated and covered prior to entering the water.
Children 10 years and under, in the learn to Swim Program, holiday and after school club programs, are not permitted entry into the pool unless supervised at all times by a parent or carer (sixteen years or older)
